América Cars S. A. was a Spanish automobile manufacturer.
Company History
The gentlemen Irigoyen, Pladellorens and Pazos founded in 1913 in Barcelona, the company. Manuel Pazos was the chief designer. 1917 began the production of automobiles. In 1919, the company vehicles in the Salón del Automóvil de Barcelona. 1922 production ended. The brand name was America.
Rolling stock
First there was the model type A with a four- valve engine and a three speed transmission, which already had a kind of synchronization. 1919 was followed by the Type B, also 6/8 HP called. This was provided by a four-cylinder engine with 760 cc displacement for the drive. 1921 was followed by the Type C on the basis of type B, a sports car, also available as singles.
