American Hi-Fi

American Hi -Fi is a rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, in part, from Los Angeles, California.

Band History

It was founded in playing classic rock band line-up of Stacy Jones. As a young boy he drummed with wooden spoons to the plates of his father. Finally, he got a drum set and started for the given circuit through all garages ( bands ) in the area. In his Boston college years his first real band called Letters To Cleo, with whom he recorded two albums, and even led tours abroad emerged. Although he had spent many years with Letters To Cleo and it steadily went ahead, he seized the opportunity for a band to change, which was already one step further. According to American Hi- Fi site he came at Veruca Salt always more to the taste, personally standing in the foreground. To this end, he practiced singing and taught himself to play the guitar. From his acquaintances in Boston he recruited bassist Drew Parsons, who was engaged at Tracy Bonham. Brian Nolan had just finished his job at Drum Fig Dish in Chicago and Jamie Arentzen, the lead guitarist, was the Sky Heroes stretched. The renowned producer Bob Rock knew Jones from the Veruca Salt - time and supported him, from the rehearsal room in Hawaii over the state of the art equipment and local Testgigs to professional disk recording. Instead, they toured incessantly. Before the recording of the third album, Hearts On Parade, brought out by the label Maverick, the musicians moved successively to Los Angeles. Since spring of 2006, they are working on a new album.

Music style

Her style includes elements of the alternative about punk rock to metal. On their third album, Hearts On Parade for the first time they hit calmer, at influenced by Britpop sound than on the previous two albums; the album yet but has the typical American Hi - Fi sound.
