Amram Gaon
Amram ben Scheschna ( Amram Gaon, † 880 ) was Sura since about 860 Gaon as the successor of Natronaj II
He was the author of numerous responsa.
From him the oldest known Jewish prayer book dates ( Raw Seder Amram, large collection including liturgical prayer and ritual rules ), the same time his most important and represents his main work ( first edition Warsaw 1865).
