Amsterdam Crusaders

The Amsterdam Crusaders are a Dutch American football team from Amsterdam.

History

The Crusaders are the most successful Dutch American football team with 15 national championships by far. But also at the European level, they mainly included the beginning of the nineties of the best teams ever. Between 1988 and 1993, the Crusaders were five times in the Euro Bowl and could decide this twice ( in 1991 against the Berlin Adler 21:20 and 1992 against Torino Giaguari 42:24 ) for themselves.

1994 and 1995 the team took part in the Football League of Europe ( FLE ), without being able to build on earlier successes.

In 1996, she returned to the Dutch league and could return at national level on the road to success. At the international level, they could not go to the really big successes, however, after the Euro Bowl preliminary rounds of 1996 they took between 2006 and 2008 part of the EFAF Cup, but left each already in the group stage.

More teams

In addition to the men's team the Crusaders have several youth teams in the game mode.
