Amto - Musan is an entity belonging to the Papuan language family of Papua New Guinea, which is unrelated to any other language family. It consists of the two languages ​​Amto (Ki) and Musan ( Siawi ), both (former West Sepik ) are spoken in the province of Sandaun.

Both languages ​​are highly endangered languages ​​, Amto is spoken in only two villages (200 persons as of 2000), Musan / Siawi of 70 speakers. The language area covers only a small mountainous region of about 30 km, in the northern mountains of the West Range, south of the upper Sepik River between May and Idam. The western valley speaks Amto, the Musan can be found in the east of the highlands. North at the top Sepik west as the Idam Abau is spoken, even east Sepik, which swings here around the mountain region, dominate Sepik - Ramu languages ​​for which the Amto - Musan form a linguistic island.
