Ana Gallay

Ana María Gallay ( born January 16, 1986 in Nogoya ) is an Argentine beach volleyball player.

Career

Gallay occurred in 2007 at their first FIVB tournament in Fortaleza with Mariela Celestina Duce and reached # 41 Since 2010, she forms a duo with María Virginia Zonta. The two Argentineans developed in the following years, the most successful team in their country and also reached on the South American tournaments some top placings. They took in 2011 and 2012 at the Brasília Open, and in 2012 the tournament in Sanya part, but did not get it over the 41 square. About the Continental Cup, Gallay / Zonta qualified for the Olympic Games in London. There they were the only female duo of their country in the first round in part to the later silver medalists Kessy / Ross from the USA. However, they could not win a set in their three group matches and had to say good-bye in the first round.

2013 won Gallay / Zonta the first tournament of the Continental Tour in Chile. In the following tournaments in the tour they took places two to four. They also came on the 17th place in the Grand Slam in Corrientes.
