Ana Kasparian

Anahit Misak Kasparian or shortly Ana Kasparian ( Western Armenian pronunciation: ɑnɑhid ʰ k ʰ misɑk ɑsbɑɾjɑn; * July 7, 1986 in Los Angeles ) is an Armenian- American television presenter and producer for online news show The Young Turks. Kasparian began in 2007 as a fill-in producer for The Young Turks, and is now host of the main show, and TV host of The Point on the TYT Network. She also appeared on the television version of the show on Current TV.

Biography

Kasparian is the daughter of Armenian immigrants and was raised in the community of Reseda San Fernando Valley. Kasparian graduated in 2004 at the Valley Alternative Magnet School of Van Nuys and 2007 at California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism.

Kasparian was in Los Angeles a producer at CBS radio news stations, first with KFWB and KNX then. She also works with AOL News, YouTube, TidalTv and On Point. In addition to their work on moderator TYT Ana Kasparian also appeared on the English version of the Russian and Russia Today RT America. After full-fledged star presenter was in April 2007, Kasparian was also producer and co- host Cenk Uygur on with the progressive talk radio on Sirius XM Radio and Internet or TV show The Young Turks. She hosted TYT University, a program that focused on matters of university students, and moderates today alone another TYT Network show, The Point.

Ana Kasparian is agnostic. She completed her Masters in Political Science in 2010.
