Anacostia and Pacific Company

The Anacostia & Pacific Company ( FCRR ) is an American company for the establishment, management and counseling of railway companies. Headquarters of the company are established in 1985 to New York and Chicago.

The subsidiary Chicago, South Shore and South Bend Railroad was formed in 1989 from the remnants of the bankrupt predecessor company.

Through its subsidiary Anacostia Rail Holdings, the Louisville and Indiana Railroad, which, the Northern Lines Railway and the Pacific Harbor Line operated New York and Atlantic Railway.

The company was still in the formation of MidSouth Rail, Otter Tail Valley Railroad, Montana Rail Link (at this she still shares ) and the Kiamichi Railroad involved.

Abroad, the company was involved in privatizations in Argentina ( Nuevo Central Argentino ) and Chile ( Ferrocarril Del Pacifico ).
