Anantnag (sometimes called Islamabad, Kashmiri: اننتناگ, Anaṁtnāg, "place of springs and lakes ") is a city in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir and the administrative seat of the district of the same name. About 180,000 people live in Anantnag.

Anantnag is the third largest city of Jammu and Kashmir by population and largest by area after. It is considered the economic hub of Kashmirtals.
