Anastasiya Shvedova

Anastasia Schwedawa (born Anastasia Ivanova Wassiljewna; May 3, 1979 in Leningrad, Soviet Union) is a Belarusian athlete of Russian origin.

Achievements

Under her birth name Ivanova, she won the silver medal in the pole vault at the 2003 Summer Universiade in Daegu. In 2004 she became Russian Champion and participated in the Olympic Games in Athens, however, where she was eliminated in the qualifying.

Since July 20, 2009 Schwedawa has the Belarusian citizenship and starts since then internationally for Belarus. The European Athletics Championships 2010 in Barcelona they finished fourth and eighth in Paris at the Indoor Athletics Championships 2011 course.
