Anatoliy Konkov

Anatoli Dmytrowytsch Konkow (Ukrainian Анатолій Дмитрович Коньков; born September 19, 1949 in Krasny Luch, Ukrainian SSR ) is a retired Soviet football player and a Ukrainian football coach and football official. Since September 2012, he is President of the Ukrainian Football Federation Federazija Futbolu Ukrajiny.

Konkow began his career in 1965 at Avangard Kramatorsk. In 1968 he moved to Shakhtar Donetsk. From 1975 to 1981, the defender then played for Dynamo Kiev, Dynamo, he won four times with the Soviet title, and once the Soviet Cup.

In 1975 he won with Dynamo Kiev Europa Cup Winners' Cup in the same year against FC Bayern Munich and the UEFA Super Cup.

From 1971 to 1978, Konkow to 47 missions for the Soviet national team. At the 1976 Olympic Games he won the bronze medal with the Soviet team and at the European Football Championship 1972, he was with the Sbornaja in the final in Brussels against the German national football team, the final lost the Soviet team, however, clearly with 0:3.

After the end of his active career Konkow trained in the Soviet Union, among others, the teams of Tawrija Simferopol and FC Shakhtar Donetsk. In 1995, he was for seven games head coach of the Ukrainian national football team, and later he trained in Ukraine Vorskla Poltava and the teams Stal Alchevsk and the Azerbaijani club FK Inter Baku.

In September 2012, Konkow was elected as the new President of the Ukrainian Football Federation, making it official successor of Hryhorij Surkis.
