Anatoly Kashpirovsky

Anatoly Mikhailovich Kaschpirowski (Russian Анатолий Михайлович Кашпировский; born August 11, 1939 in Proskuriw ) is a Russian psychotherapist, hypnotist and healer, who became popular through television appearances in the former USSR in the years 1989 /1990. From 1993 to 1995 he was a deputy of the Duma for the fraction of the LDPR.

Biography

Kaschpirowski graduated in 1962 from the Medical Institute in Vinnytsia in Ukraine and worked for 25 years as a psychotherapist in a psychiatric hospital. In 1987 he was Psychotherapist weightlifting team of the Soviet Union.

1989 Kaschpirowski was several appearances (so-called hypnosis sessions) in the Soviet television known nationwide. As one of the sponsors of these performances was the later official Alexei Mitrofanov LDPR. During one of these performances stunned Kaschpirowski through hypnosis two patients that have just undergone surgery on the abdomen. The first TV appearance took place on 9 October 1989.

1993 Kaschpirowski was elected to the State Duma deputies of the constituency Yaroslavl. He was initially the LDPR faction to Zhirinovsky and Mitrofanov, but came on 1 July 1995 from her. In 2008 he gave a phone interview with the magazine Sobesednik. He stated that he is now retired and spend a lot of time on the computer by manage the lists of him and healed his diaries and interviews, with the intent to publish them on his personal website.

In February 2009 some media reported in Russia, Kaschpirowski would soon host a television talk show for private channel NTV. Then claimed a representative of the Moscow Serbski Institute of Psychiatry, its shipments could harm the health of television viewers.
