Anatoly Kashpirovsky

Anatoly Mikhailovich Kaschpirowski (Russian Анатолий Михайлович Кашпировский; born August 11, 1939 in Proskuriw ) is a Russian psychotherapist, hypnotist and healer, who became popular through television appearances in the former USSR in the years 1989 /1990. From 1993 to 1995 he was a deputy of the Duma for the fraction of the LDPR.

Biography

Kaschpirowski graduated in 1962 from the Medical Institute in Vinnytsia in Ukraine and worked for 25 years as a psychotherapist in a psychiatric hospital. In 1987 he was Psychotherapist weightlifting team of the Soviet Union.

1989 Kaschpirowski was several appearances (so-called hypnosis sessions) in the Soviet television known nationwide. As one of the sponsors of these performances was the later official Alexei Mitrofanov LDPR. 1993 Kaschpirowski was elected to the State Duma deputies of the constituency Yaroslavl. He was initially the LDPR faction to Zhirinovsky and Mitrofanov, but came on 1 July 1995 from her. In February 2009 some media reported in Russia, Kaschpirowski would soon host a television talk show for private channel NTV. Then claimed a representative of the Moscow Serbski Institute of Psychiatry, its shipments could harm the health of television viewers.
