Anaxandrides

Anaxandrides was a Greek comic poet, who is assigned to the Middle Comedy. He came from Kameiros or colophon and recorded his first of ten comedy victories in 376 BC Between 382 and 347 performances of 65 of his pieces are occupied. He participated in 348 at the Festival of the Macedonian king Philip II.

From his plays only the items are handed down to us, a total of 42 from the fragments shows that political allusions occurred, and the Suda is fictional love stories.
