Anca Heltne

Anca Heltne Margareta, born Vâlceanu, ( born January 1, 1978 in Câmpulung, county Arges ) is a Romanian track and field athlete.

Career

Starting point for the operation of competitive sports was a handball game in which she had injured by a massive ball impact on the hand of the opposing goalkeeper for the then fourteen- year-old Anca Vâlceanu. She enrolled subsequent to the Sports School in her home town in order to make proper use the force in its possession. Later she studied in Craiova on the Institutul de educatie Fizică şi Sport and the Department of Physiotherapy.

My first coach was Bădescu Gabriel, who after two months of care in the javelin on their current special discipline, the shot put, pointed. About Bădescu she met the Norwegian decathlete Rune Heltne (* 1980 ), who had come in 2000 because of the good training conditions after Câmpulung. The couple married in January 2001, and since then takes the athlete under the name Anca Vâlceanu - Heltne and in recent years under the name Anca Heltne regular competitor.

Currently Heltne is trained at Clubul Sportiv Farul Constanta from her husband. She participated in the 2008 Olympics, but where they did not reach 23 as the Vorkampfes the final. Also at the World Athletics Championships 2007 in Osaka and 2009 in Berlin, she had already failed in qualifying.

In the National Indoor Championships 2010, she tested positive in the subsequent doping control. After its lock had expired, Heltne participated in Helsinki at the European Athletics Championships in 2012.
