And Jef / Parti Africain pour la Démocratie et le Socialisme (And JEF / PADS, common action / African Party for Democracy and Socialism ) is a socialist party in Senegal.

And The JEF / PADS went in 1991 from the merger of four organizations of the left out: And-Jëf/Mouvement pour la Démocratie Nouvelle Revolutionaire (AJ / MRND, former Maoist ), Union pour la Démocratie Populaire (UDP, Maoist ) organization Socialiste des Travailleurs (OST Trotskyist ) and the circle around the magazine SUXXUBA ( panafrikanistisch ).

And The JEF / PADS has been present since the change of government in 2000 with two ministers in the government of President Abdoulaye Wade, the party general secretary Landing Savané is currently Minister of Industry and crafts, Awa Diop case, Minister for Cooperation with parliamentary institutions.
