André (also: André - The little seal, original title Andre ) is an American child and animal movie from the year 1994, the film adaptation was based on the novel A Seal Called Andre by Harry Goodridge and Lew Dietz.. The story is based on a true story.

Action

A seal is an orphan after her mother died in a fishing net killed. The harbor master Harry Whitney finds the animal and maintains it at home healthy. The whole family includes the little seal on their hearts. They give him the name Andre. The 7 -year-old Toni plays a lot with the baby seal and can teach you many tricks. Then the media attention, and soon many tourists come to the small fishing village of Rockport.

But the fishermen are not too thrilled. They blame the seals for the poor fishing results. Inform the authorities so that the seal is not picked because art- fair livestock. First, the Harbour Master may, however, still get a reprieve from the authorities, to André is fully grown.
