André Macanga

André Valentim Venceslau Macanga ( born May 14, 1978 in Luanda ), known as André André or Macanga, is an Angolan football player. The defensive midfielder currently plays for Al - Kuwait SC. He is a member of the Angolan national team and was in the squad for the World Cup 2006.

His debut in the national team was Macanga on 28 September 1999 against Namibia. Since then, he has 35 caps for Angola denied ( state 21 June 2006)

Career

André Macanga began his professional career with the Portuguese fourth division FC Vilanovense 1999, he moved to SC Salgueiros and 2000 FC Alverca, both also unterklassige clubs. He was then discovered by Vitória Guimarães in 2001 and played the next three years in the first division in Portugal, a season in Guimarães, Académica Coimbra and Porto Boavista. In the season 2004/2005 Macanga played in Turkey Gaziantepspor, 2005, he signed a contract with Al- Kuwait SC.
