André Maschinot

André Maschinot ( born June 28, 1903 in Valdoie, † March 10, 1963 ) was a French football player.

Career

The striker was appointed 1927-1930 five times in the French national football team. To this end, a non- applicable as official international match came in the summer of 1930 against Brazil.

Maschinot part of the French squad at the World Cup in Uruguay in 1930. In the group match against Mexico, he scored in a 4-1 win in France, his only two goals for the national team. He was the first player who scored two goals in a World Cup in a game.

In 1935, he won the French football championship with FC Sochaux.
