André Schubert ( born July 24, 1971 in Kassel, Germany ) is a German football coach.

Career

Schubert studied sports and German at the University of Kassel. He also worked as a youth coach since 1989. He played until 1995 for TSV Rothwesten from 1995 to 1997, the FSC Lochmaben, 1997-1999 for TSV Wolfsanger and from 1999 to 2000 for OSC Vellmar. In 2000, he was coordinator of youth and female youth coach at KSV Baunatal. At the same time, he also played from 2000 to 2002 for Baunatal.

From 2002 on, he was until 2006 DFB - base coordinator in northern Hesse. In 2004, he trained as a football coach, which he completed in collaboration with Maren Meinert and Olaf Janssen as valedictorian.

Schubert, among others, an intern at Bayern Munich, FC Schalke 04 and Hamburger SV in the junior sections. He was also under Bernd Stöber assistant coach of the U-15, U-16 and U-17 national team.

In March 2006 he became director of sports and youth development at SC Paderborn 07 and took over the training of the second team. In early April 2009, he sparked Christian Schreier onto the position of the Sporting conductor. On 13 May 2009 Schubert also took over as coach of Pawel Dochev and led the club with four wins in the league and third in the relegation matches against VfL Osnabrück for promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.

1 July 2011, undertook the FC St. Pauli Schubert as new coach. He signed a two-year contract until 30 June 2013, but was granted leave on 26 September 2012. Since November 18, 2013 Schubert an honorary consultant at KSV Hessen Kassel.
