Andreas Aguilar

Andreas Aguilar ( born January 26, 1962 in Barcelona ) is a former German gymnast.

He grew up in the Philippines. In 1971 he came to Hanover. In 1982 and 1983 he was German champion in gymnastics rings. Overall, he won six times at German Championships. At the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, he finished with the German team ranked twelfth, ninth of Vorkampfs he just missed the finals on the rings. His greatest sporting achievements was winning at the World Championships in gymnastics rings in 1989 in Stuttgart. He ended his athletic career after an injury at the European Championships in 1990.

He was awarded the Silver Laurel Journal.

Since the end of his active career, he worked as a graphic designer and illustrator.
