Andreas Strobel

Andreas Strobel ( born May 13, 1972 in Selb ) is a German ski mountaineer and cyclist. He is a member of the German national ski mountaineering and 2008 was German champion in the vertical race.

Ski mountaineering

After in 2006 the fourth place went ski mountaineering at the German Championship, he succeeded a year later, to achieve the 2nd place in the vertical race at the German Championship in ski mountaineering. In 2007 he finished the Dammkarwurm to second place. In 2008 he became German champion in the vertical race, finished in both the individual and as a team to third place at the German Cup ski mountaineering and was scored in the men's relay with Toni Steurer, Stefan Klinger and Konrad Lex at the World Championship relay the 6th Place. In 2009, he was its champion in vertical race not defend and reached at the German Championship at the Hochgrat second place.

Mountain Biking

With the cycling he began in 1991, originally for fitness training of the mountaineering expedition in South America. After he rode along with the " Ronda Extrema " in Riva del Garda in 1997 and one of the last places occupied, he began targeted for this sport to train.
