Andreas Waldherr

Andreas Waldherr ( born April 29, 1968; † 6 July, 2011 Aspangbahn ) was an Austrian rally driver.

Career

Andreas Waldherr secured in 2000 to second place in the Rally Cup of Supreme National Sports Commission for the Automotive Sport ( OSK ) ÖAMTC for diesel vehicles. Three times (2001 to 2003) he won the Rally Cup by the OSK for diesel vehicles. Since 2004, Waldherr drove the Austrian Rally Championship with good success.

The greatest success he succeeded in 2006, when he reached the third place in the overall standings. His first success in the Austrian state championship he reached on 2/3. May 2008 Bosch Super Plus Rallye on VW Polo S 2000. Throughout his career, Waldherr denied 72 rallies, three of which he could finish victorious.
