Andrej Mrkela

Andrej Mrkela (Cyrillic Андреј Мркела; * April 9, 1992 in Enschede ) is a Serbian football player.

Career

Association

Mrkela began with the club football in the youth from FK Red Star Belgrade and was included in the senior squad in 2008. From the summer of 2009 he played on loan in sequence at OFK Beograd, FK Sopot and FK Rad in 2011 he moved to league rivals FK Rad

For the second half of the season 2012/ 13, he moved along with his teammate Goran Čaušić in the Turkish Süper Lig on Eskişehirspor. While Goran Čaušić joined together to release Eskişehirspor, Mrkela changed as Players out on loan with option to buy. From the option to buy the club made ​​no use, so he moved back to his club FK Rad after the season back.

National

Since 2009 Mrkela plays for the Serbian U-21 national team. With this he took part in the U-19 European Football Championships in 2011 and reached the semifinals.
