Andrew Arato

Andrew Arato ( born August 22, 1944 in Budapest) is a professor of sociology at the New School in New York.

Life

Andrew Arato acquired in 1975 at the University of Chicago academic degree Ph.D. in history. He is known for his authored with Jean L. Cohen works Civil Society and Political Theory ( Studies in Contemporary German Social Thought ) and its issued jointly with Nancy Fraser journal Constellations, an international journal for critical theory and democratic theory.
