Nancy Fraser

Nancy Fraser ( born May 20, 1947 in Baltimore) is a political scientist and one of the most famous American feminists. Currently, Fraser Henry A. and Louise Loeb Professor of Political and Social Science at the New School for Social Research in New York City. Together with Andrew Arato she is the editor of the journal Constellations, an international journal for critical theory and democratic theory.

Their work areas include deliberative democracy, the emergence of transnational public and feminist theory.
