Andrew Bishop

Andrew Bishop ( born August 7, 1985 in Llantrisant, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Glamorgan ) is a Welsh rugby union player who plays on the position of the inner three- quarter for the Ospreys and the Welsh national team.

Bishop came in 2005 to the Ospreys and announced in February of this year his debut in the Magners League against the Border Reivers. He had previously played for Bridgend, Neath and Maesteg. In the season 2006/ 07 he became a regular at the Ospreys and came to a total of 30 missions in that season. In this he succeeded, among other things, an attempt in the final of the EDF Energy Cup.

Bishop went through the youth national teams in the country and was a member of the U21 squad that won the Grand Slam in 2005 at the Six Nations this age group. His first cap for the Men's selection he denied in June 2008 against South Africa.
