Andrew Feinstein

Andrew Feinstein ( born March 16, 1964 in Cape Town ) is a former politician and non-fiction writer from South Africa.

Career

He was from 1997 to 2001 Member of the African National Congress ( ANC) in the South African National Assembly. In the course of which he participated in the investigation of the purchase of fighter aircraft by the South African government in 1999. Sellers were the British BAE Systems and the Swedish Saab Group. In protest against the resulting corruption acts he resigned. Since then, he lives in London and works as a writer and journalist. He has published several books and his reportage appeared among others in the Guardian, the Daily Telegraph, the New Statesman and in the mirror. He also reported for the British Broadcasting Corporation ( BBC ) and Al Jazeera.
