Andrew Gowers

Andrew Gowers ( born 1956 ) was the chief editor of the Financial Times and initiator and editor of the Financial Times Germany, whose editor in chief, he was in 2000 and 2001. He then moved into the communications industry.

Between 2006 and the end of 2008 Gowers of Lehman Brothers employees whose bankruptcy was a trigger for the global financial crisis from 2007 was. From 2009 he was head of communications of the BP group and key person during the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010. Late November 2010 he gave up this position.
