Andrew Lockington
Andrew Lockington ( born January 31, 1974 in Burlington, Ontario ) is a Canadian composer.
Life
Andrew Lockington was born into a musical family. Since both his parents already started early playing the piano, they brought it with him also and his two sisters. Early on, he tried to compose their own pieces and played during his high school days in a school rock band, so he decided after graduating instrumentation and composition at Wilfrid Laurier University to study. He then moved to Toronto, where for a year he worked as a jingle composer.
From 1997 he worked as a film composer after the Canadian film composer Mychael Danna he started as an assistant, including for films like Saint Ralph - Miracles are possible, City of Ember - Dark Flight and Journey to the Center of the Earth.
He currently lives with his wife and their three children in both Toronto and Los Angeles.
