Andrij Walerijowytsch Pjatow (Ukrainian Андрій Пятов; Russian Андрей Валерьевич Пятов; UEFA transcription Andriy Pyatov; born June 28, 1984 in Kirovohrad ) is a Ukrainian football goalkeeper.
Career
Pjatow began in 2002 his career at his hometown club Vorskla Poltava. In 2007 he moved for about a million € to Shakhtar Donetsk and solved there Bohdan Schust as goalkeeper from. In 2008 he got competition because Donetsk with the goalkeeper FK Kharkiv, Rustam Chudschamow reinforced. However, this fluffed the same in one of his first games, so Pjatow could gain his place quickly. This was consolidated in the course of the season by good performances, especially in the European Cup where they made it to the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup.
He was appointed because of the violation of the Ukrainian tribe Keepers Olexandr Schowkowskyj as a possible replacement in the squad his home for the 2006 World Cup, but where he did not play because Schowkowskyj in the end but was able to play. Pjatow received his first senior international match on June 5, 2006 against Libya. Since 2008 he is the first goalkeeper of Ukraine and was in the World Cup qualifier against Croatia (0-0 ) man of the match when he could defuse several good balls by Luka Modrić. He played from 2004 to 2006 20 Games for U- 21 team in his country and in 2006 was vice-European champion. Especially in the U-21 European Championship qualifier he showed his outstanding qualities and it was thanks to him that the Ukrainian talent in this competition, including the playoff games against Belgium have conceded only 11 hits.
