Andrzej Ćwierz

Andrzej Ćwierz ( born August 20, 1947 in Przeworsk ) is a Polish politician and since 2005 member of the Sejm in the V. and VI. Legislature.

In 1973 he finished the study of physics at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, 1987, he received his doctorate from the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy Krakow ( Akademia Górniczo - Hutnicza - AGH ).

1974 to 1975 and 1979 to 1990 he was a lecturer at the AGH, in the years 1975 to 1979 taught at the Technical University of Rzeszów e. From 1990 to 2005, he taught physics at the general- Lyceum in Jarosław.

In the 2005 parliamentary elections, he was with 6,161 votes on the list of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ( Law and Justice - PiS) elected for the constituency 22 Krosno in the Sejm. In the 2007 parliamentary elections he won with 6,903 votes again a parliamentary mandate for the PiS. He is a member of the Sejm commissions of Foreign Affairs and Education, Science and Youth.
