Andy Kubert

Andrew "Andy" Kubert ( born February 27, 1962) is an American comic book artist.

Life and work

Kubert was born in 1962 as the son of comic artist Joe Kubert. Together with his brother Adam Kubert he joined in the 1980s in his father's footsteps and began working as a professional cartoonist.

His first published work was one of a mini series on the sci-fi hero Adam Strange, who came on the market in the East Coast publisher DC Comics program. Larger sensation aroused Kubert first time as a signatory to the DC issued jointly with the publisher Dark Horse Crossiver Batman Vs. Predator, in which both publishers familiar characters from her repertoire could occur in a common history.

In the 1990s, Kubert worked mainly for Marvel Comics, for whom he worked on various series of the X -Men series mainly. He illustrated editions of the series Uncanny X -Men, Ultimate X -Men and X -Men Classic. There were engagements at Marvel series like Ghost Rider, Incredible Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Marvel 1602 and Ultimate Iron Man.

2005 wrote Kubert an exclusive contract with DC Comics, where he has primarily serves the traditional Batman series, for which he uses stories of the Scotsman Grant Morrison into the picture.
