Joe Kubert ( born September 18, 1926 in Jerzierzany; † 12 August 2012) was an American comic book artist and founder of the eponymous school for graphic design and art Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art

Life

Kubert came in the 1920s with its coming from Poland parents emigrated to the United States, where the family settled in Brooklyn, New York City. 1938, with eleven and a half years, Kubert let him take the publisher Louis Silberkleit under contract and began working as a professional cartoonist in the following years.
