Andy Kuntz

Andy Kuntz ( born November 20, 1962 in Kaiserslautern) is the lead singer of the band Vanden Plas. In addition, Andy Kuntz has worked as a singer at the Pfalz Theatre Kaiserslautern, where he had written them musical " Abydos " and " Ludus Danieli " premiered. The musical direction and implementation of the compositions had Werno Günther and Stephan Lill held; also director John Meier riding was involved. " Abydos " processed elements of Egyptian mythology, " Ludus Danieli " is inspired by medieval adaptations of the biblical narrative Belshazzar. In 2008, the rock opera " Christ 0 " was first performed ( based on the novel "The Count of Monte Cristo" ) at the Munich Staatstheater am Gaertnerplatz, was involved in the Kuntz as a composer, librettist and singer. " Christ 0 " had on 24 January 2010 at Pfalz Kaiserslautern theater premiere.

The Chronicle of the Immortals

2011 commissioned Wolfgang Holbein the band Vanden Plas trying to pour his novel cycle " The Chapters of the Immortals" in a musical version. The rock opera entitled " The Chronicles of the Immortals - Blood Night" premiered on January 21, 2012 in Kaiserslautern Palatinate Theatre.
