Aneta Kręglicka

Aneta Beata Kręglicka ( born March 23, 1965 in Szczecin ) is the first and so far only Polish woman who has ever been elected Miss World.

In this beauty contest she won on November 22, 1989 in Hong Kong. Even before she had won several awards, such as the title of Miss Polonia and second place in Miss International in Tokyo in 1989.

She studied business administration at the University of Gdansk. After winning the title Miss World 1989, she opened her own public relations operation. She is married to the Polish director Maciej Żak.
