The Angel in Wolbecker Tiergarten

Geography

The Angel rises about 2 km to the east of Neubeckum at an altitude of 132 m above sea level. NN. From here it flows mainly north- west, but it often changes the direction.

First, flows around the river and the previously mentioned Neubeckum in the north and then to flow Enniger. Shortly before reaching the Ortsrandes takes the Angel on the right side to the beasts Bach. Enniger is happening on the southern outskirts. A few miles down the river empties left the light stream. At the hamlet of Water man also flows to the Nienholtbach the Angel left side.

East of Sendenhorst the barrel turns in a northerly direction, so that the village is not affected. At the hamlet of Witte opens on the right side of the Voßbach and a little later the Vienna Inger Bach. In the following section to Wolbeck the river is straightened. Wolbeck itself flows through tortuous. In place of beeping creek empties into the Angel that a little later even in Angelmodde to 48 m above sea level. NN right side opens into the Werse.

On its 38.2 km long road the Angel overcomes a height difference of 84 m, corresponding to an average bed slope of 2.2 ‰. She drains an area of 195.134 km ².
