Angelo Rossitto

Angelo Rossitto ( born February 18, 1908 in Omaha, Nebraska, † September 21, 1991 in Los Angeles, California ) was a midget American actor. He was 88 inches tall.

Life and career

Rossitto was discovered by John Barrymore and made ​​his screen debut with Barrymore in The Beloved Rogue (1927 ). He also played in the controversial 1932 film Freaks by Tod Browning and 1938 Child Bride of Harry Revier. In the 40s he played alongside Bela Lugosi. His last major role was alongside Mel Gibson in the film Mad Max - Beyond Thunderdome in 1985.
