Angus Macfadyen
Angus Macfadyen ( born September 21, 1963 in Glasgow ) is a British film actor.
Life and career
Angus Macfadyen attended, among others, the University of Edinburgh and studied acting at the Central School of Drama in London. Among his best known roles include Captain Blackbeard, which he embodied Pirates of the Caribbean in the television miniseries and the deceitful Dupont from Equilibrium. He also played Robert the Bruce in Mel Gibson's William Wallace Braveheart film. In Saw V Macfadyen was seen, in which he again portrayed his character from Saw III and Saw IV in a flashback.
Macfadyen was briefly romantically involved with fellow actress Catherine Zeta -Jones.
