Anik F1

Anik F1 is a television satellite of the Anik series of Canadian satellite operator Telesat Canada. The satellite was launched into space with a rocket from the Ariane 44L type from the Kourou spaceport in French Guiana on 21 November 2000.

Developed by Boeing Satellite Systems Anik F1 satellite bus is based on the Boeing 702 weighs 4710 kg and is designed for an operating life of 15 years.

Reception

The satellite can be received in all of South America. The transfer is done in C- and Ku- band.
