Anika Moa

Anika Moa ( born May 21, 1980 in Christchurch ) is a New Zealand singer-songwriter.

Career

During her school years she took on Smoke free rock quest, one to New Zealand quite popular competition, in part. A short time later she was able to sign a recording contract with Atlantic Records.

In Germany it is mainly known by the title of Anchor Me on the eponymous Greenpeace single, which was released to mark the 20th anniversary of the sinking of the Rainbow Warrior.

In February 2010, she entered into a registered partnership with Angela Fyfe, which expects 2011 twins in August.
