Animal Welfare Party

Animals Count ( count animals ) is a British small party. It is composed primarily an animal welfare, animal rights and environmental policy. The party was founded in December 2006 by Shaun Rutherford and the Dutch Jasmijn de Boo modeled after the Dutch Partij voor de Dieren, for which de Boo was started in the 2004 European elections. The party is mainly active in London and Wales.

Animals Count first met in 2008 in the election to the London Assembly. In Lambeth and Southwark constituency, it reached 1.1% of the vote. In the European elections 2009, she ran to a list electives East of England, reaching 0.8 % of the vote. At the general election in 2010 Richard Deboo ran in the London constituency of Islington South and Finsbury for the party and won 0.3 % of votes.

Programmatic

The party calls for, among other things, a universal health care for animals modeled after the National Health Service ( National Health Service ). In addition, more green spaces and parks are required to be connected by "green corridors"
