Animexx

Animexx eV is in Munich, was established on January 30, 2000 Club, which is dedicated to promoting Japanese pop culture, particularly manga and anime prescribed. The association is a 2008 member of the Association German -Japanese companies since May 2.

Development

The Animexx eV emerged from the merger of two clubs: the "1st Sailor Moon Online Fanclub " ( SMOF ) and the " Animangai ". The S.M.O.F. was formally established on 1 August 1997 and organized in September 1998, one of the first Germany -wide Anime conventions at all, the Neo Moon Project '98 Zorneding near Munich. The Animangai was founded on 1 January 1999 and published the club magazine " tsunami ", which was later adopted in the Animexx with.

The Animexx eV currently has over 1,000 sustaining members worldwide and approximately 102,900 online members (as of March 2013).

Meetings and events

In addition to numerous monthly meetings throughout the German-speaking area of the club since 2002, organized the annual anime convention Connichi, first in May in Ludwigshafen, Germany, since 2003 in September in Kassel (2007: 13.500 day visitors in 3 days). From 2003 to 2005, the publishing house Egmont Manga & Anime was involved as a sponsor and co-organizer at the Connichi. The club's magazine was first up to its setting in early 2004 tsunami. It was replaced by the FUNime, which was the joint journal of the clubs Animexx and Anime no Tomodachi by the end of 2008.

German Cosplay Championship

The club is one of the two sponsors of the German Cosplay Championship and responsible for regional decisions.
