Anita Huffington

Anita Huffington (born 25 December 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American sculptor.

Life

Anita Huffington came in 1954 to New York City to study under Martha Graham dance and modern dance. Together with Franz Kline and Mary Frank, wife of Robert Frank, one of the leading representatives of Abstract Expressionism, she shared an apartment. Later Huffington studied at the University of North Carolina, Bennington College and the University of South Florida, and received a BA and an MFA from the City College of New York.

In the mid-1970s, she traveled with her husband, Hank Sutter, by the United States. Close to Fayetteville, they bought a log cabin in the woods of Arkansas. There she directed a studio and devoted himself entirely to sculpture.
