Anita Morris

Anita Morris ( born March 14, 1943 in Durham, North Carolina; † March 2, 1994 in Los Angeles ) was an American actress.

Life and achievements

Morris made ​​his debut at the American Mime Theatre; she played her first Broadway role in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. In 1982 she was nominated for her role in the musical Nine for the Tony Award. You should perform during the ceremony a scene from the play, but this was her forbidden because of their clothing.

Her first film role was played by Morris in the comedy The Broad Coalition of 1972. In the film drama Maria 's Lovers (1984 ) she played alongside Nastassja Kinski one of the major roles. In the comedy Little millionaire in Need (1993 ) she played the stepmother of Heather Lofton (Jennifer Love Hewitt ).

Morris married in 1973, the dancer and choreographer Grover Dale, with whom she remained married until her death. She had by him a son, James Badge Dale, who became an actor.
