Anja Brinker

Anja Brinker ( born January 18, 1991 Melle ) is a German gymnast.

Anja Brinker is a student and lives in Seelze - Lathwehren. It is coached by Oleg Tschekmarev, previously owned by Dieter Koch and starts for the TV Herkenrath. First, she trained in domestic Melle, later until its closure in the power center in Hannover and since then the National Training Centre in Bergisch Gladbach, where they temporarily lived in the boarding school. 2004 Brinker won gold at the German Junior Championships on the uneven bars and bronze in the all around. The following year, she won the junior all-around the DM and the jump was second on floor and third on bars. At the Junior European Championship 2006 she won the German team bronze.

In 2007, she celebrated in her first year with the women 's breakthrough. At the German Championships she won gold on the uneven bars and silver on floor and all-around. At the World Cup in Ghent, she finished fourth on the uneven bars at the 2007 European Championships in Amsterdam seventh on bars and tenth in the all around. The World Cup in Stuttgart took 18th place in the all around and tenth place with the team. 2008 Brinker failed to qualify for the Olympic Games in Beijing. At the European Championships 2009 in Milan on the uneven bars she succeeded in winning the bronze medal in the all around she finished eighth.

With 1.52 meters height the athlete is predestined with the special equipment for uneven complicated jumps and acrobatics difficult parts.
