2009 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships

The third Gymnastics European Championships in a single place from March 29 to April 5, 2009 in Milan.

During the events Hambüchen managed to win gold in the all around on April 4, the first German in the 54 -year-old European Championship history. A similar success was for Ariella Kaeslin, the first Swiss woman to win an international medal with bronze in the all around and gold on vault horse.
