Dimosthenis Tampakos

Dimosthenis Tambakos (Greek Δημοσθένης Ταμπάκος, born November 12, 1976 in Thessaloniki ) is a Greek gymnast.

Tambakos took for the first time at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, where he took part in the individual all-around and parallel bars, but each scored poor results. Only on the rings he won the silver medal, only beaten by Szilveszter Csollany. But at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, he managed to Olympic victory on the rings. He won his first and only gold medal.
