Anja Tepeš

Anja Tepeš (* February 27 1991 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian ski jumper.

Biography

The daughter of the famous ski jumper and today's ski jumping functionary Miran Tepeš and sister also jumping Yuri Tepeš started 5 years ago with the ski jumping. In 2003, she was appointed to the national team and started with some FIS Jumping, before she made her debut in the FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup on January 16, 2005 at the age of 14 years. She reached in Planica immediately took 16th place. At the Junior World Cup in 2006 in Kranj, she jumped on the 21th Place. On 14 January 2007 she succeeded in Villach for the first time into the top ten. Three weeks later, she reached her career's best individual result with fourth place in Saalfelden. The 2006/07 season they finished in 16th place in the Continental Cup overall standings.

In the Slovenian ski jumping championships in 2009 she reached the 5th place in the individual. On March 17, 2013 Tepeš crashed heavily in Oslo.

After she had given in the winter in Sapporo her comeback, she retired again when training in Planica a torn ACL to.
