Anke Westendorf

Anke Westendorf ( born February 26, 1954 in Schwerin, today Anke Maukel ) is a former German volleyball player.

Anke Westendorf was 230 times GDR national team. She took part twice in the Olympic Games, where she finished in Montreal in 1976 to sixth place in Moscow in 1980 and won the silver medal. Anke Westendorf played for SC Traktor Schwerin and was several times GDR champion and fdgb Cup winner. They also won the 1975 European Cup Winners' Cup and 1978 European Cup of Champions.

With her teammates, she was in 1980 for winning the silver medal at the Olympic Games awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze.
