Ann-Marie MacDonald

Ann -Marie MacDonald ( born October 29, 1958, the Canadian military base, CFB Baden- Soellingen at Rhein Münster, Germany ) is a Canadian author, journalist and actress. She now lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Life

Ann-Marie MacDonald graduated 1980, the National Theatre School of Canada Acting Program with success and has since come into manifestation in various fields.

As an actress in U.S. and Canadian film and television productions, she has been active since 1983. Among her numerous roles are found, among other appearances in Airwolf and The L Word - If women love women, and in the comedy Better Than Chocolate.

Both the readers as well as literary critics as a novelist, she celebrated with Fall on Your Knees (1996) and The Way the Crow Flies ( 2003) results. In the theater, she was known for her Shakespearean parody Goodnight Desdemona ( Good Morning Juliet ) ( 1988) beyond the borders of Canada also. Her latest piece is called Belle Moral: A Natural History and was first performed in 2005.

For the Canadian television station CBC she moderated since 1996 Life and Times, a program that is primarily concerned with the biographies of Canadian celebrities, although not exclusively. Nelson Mandela was, for example, also the subject of Life and Times.
